Join us on 15 December for our next Newcastle Network Encounter.
The Newcastle Network Encounter hasn’t been able to meet face-to-face since March 2020, and although meeting through Zoom each month has enabled Fellows to glimpse each other briefly via tiny images on a screen, this hasn’t given friends the opportunity to have a good old-fashioned natter.
So as we move closer to another Christmas, December’s Encounter will be just that - a gathering where Fellows can meet old friends or make new ones, reminisce and discuss old and new experiences, review events and share new aspirations.
Using Zoom breakout rooms there will be a chance to have themed discussions, just like at a party. There’ll be a kitchen, a dining room, lounge, a patio, and even the option to just stay in the hall and sit on the stairs. You’ll need to provide your own drinks and nibbles though.
Got a problem? Share it with the crowd to get advice and guidance. Got an idea? Get other Fellows to help you polish it and make it come to life. Got a project and need help? Let people know what you want and see what they can offer. Want to see what’s going on? Just turn up! Wear a party hat and a Christmas jumper if you want to…
If you’d like to ‘host’ a room to get into a deeper discussion, then send a message to bill@billgibbon.net and a space can be set aside for you.
