Our monthly First Thursday meetups have focused on helping local projects shape their ideas, ambitions and strategies through themed FRSA-led discussions.
On Thursday 2 May, we will do something different. We will run Street Wisdom with the help of David Hynes FRSA, who will help take our thinking hats outdoors and onto the streets of Norwich.
Street Wisdom is a unique and refreshing ‘walking-based problem-solving’ technique that blends psychology, mindfulness and cognitive science.
Please arrive at the beginning of the session (4pm at The Forum) as Street Wisdom is a process which you can’t really join part way through. We will finish at North Café (7-9 Fye Bridge St, Norwich NR3 1LJ).
To take part, please come with a question which you’re looking for an answer to in mind. It could be about work, life or both, anything you’d value some fresh perspectives on.
For example:
· Where should I buy a new house?
· How to solve a problem at work?
· How can I have more fun?
· Should I take the new job or stay with the old one?
· What new product could I invent?
· How can I turn my hobby into a business?
· I want to learn something new – what should it be?
But nothing too wide and general such as "What is the meaning of life?"
To get the best results choose something that’s specific, meaningful, and that you’d really appreciate an answer to.
Hopefully we’ll have good weather, so please come prepared with comfortable shoes to walk in and a problem to solve.
