Rearranged panel discussion led by Tony Greenham, Director of Economy, Enterprise and Manufacturing at the RSA.
The discussion will explore what is meant by 'Power to Create', and the value that creative communities can add both in terms of the arts and a broader social purpose. Tony will also draw on the findings of the RSA's recently published Inclusive Growth Commission report and consider what that might mean in a local context.

About the speakers...
Tony Greenham - Director of Economy, Enterprise and Manufacturing, RSA
Tony leads the Economy, Enterprise and Manufacturing programme. He is a chartered accountant and former investment banker with experience both in business and with social and environmental NGOs.
Dr Beverley Hawkins - Director of Education, Management/Organization Studies & Senior Lecturer, Leadership/Organization Studies, University of Exeter Business School
Value Unltd is a two-year research project at Libraries Unltd to understand the full value of libraries to society (funded by Arts Council England). The project will look at a sector that faces a high level of automation and explores the humanity and value of libraries whilst exploiting the opportunities that the data that they generate provide.
Dr Rebecca Hillman - Lecturer, Drama, College of Humanities, University of Exeter
Dr Hillman explores activism in the workplace and is interested in the role of art and performance in social and industrial movements. She is currently working with Banner Theatre, Reel News, Townsend Productions, and the General Federation of Trade Unions to create a network of political artists, trade unionists, and activist movements.
