Following on from the success of our inaugural event in February, join us for the March meetup of the RSA Black Country and Birmingham Network.

The Network is forming to stimulate fun and intelligent debate and action about the big challenges facing our world today, not least here in Birmingham and the Black Country itself. At our second event we are setting our sights on one of the biggest but seldom addressed questions of our time: with Brexit having shaken the constitutional kaleidoscope, what future does the United Kingdom have?

Will we see a re-united Ireland? Will Scotland leave the UK? What happens to England and Wales?

On the panel:

  • Cllr Cathryn Bayton (Dudley MBC)
  • Kevin Johnson (Editor in Chief, The Chamberlain Files)
  • Kevin Meagher (Author, 'A United Ireland: Why Unification Is Inevitable and How It Will Come About')
  • Jonathan Todd (Panel Chair and Co-founder, 1000 Trades)

It is free to attend with event and all are welcome - do just sign up using the link at the top of the page. If you have any questions, please contact the Network Lead, John Stapleton FRSA: john@1000trades.org.uk.

Please note this venue is on the first floor and only accessible via stairs. From May, the venue used for RSA Black Country and Birmingham Network events will be fully accessible. To let us know of any other access requirements or reasonable adjustments you have, please email the RSA team: networks@rsa.org.uk.

Location: 1000 Trades, 16 Frederick Street, Birmingham, B1 3HE
