Join us for an interactive discussion to explore how communities can catalyze transformational change, and how to apply their lessons for innovation, impact, and power shift.

We are living at a moment of precarity around the world. It can sometimes seem like our problems are insurmountable and there is no one leading the change towards equity, justice, and opportunity for all. But leadership is everywhere if we know where to look -- and what stories to listen to, share, and tell. Lina Srivastava, FRSA, the Founder of Center for Transformational Change, has spent the past two decades exploring how to use storytelling to catalyze and amplify social change.

For this interactive event, Lina will be in conversation with Sarah Owusu, FRSA, a South Africa based innovation specialist, discussing her insights on how storytelling, democratizing innovation and community  can help move the needle on the wicked social issues of our time, and how we can apply the lessons of transformational change leaders in our own work.

Attendees are encouraged to share their own stories of transformational change during this virtual discussion.

RSA US Virtual Salons usually occur on the fourth Thursday of each month; they aim to create open dialogue and a space for RSA US Fellows to connect across geography over the issues of our times. Join a Salon to get to know other RSA US Fellows and our interests, passions, and perspectives. Salons are supported through the moderation of a volunteer to ensure that a diversity of voices are heard. We invite all Fellows to join this discussion to deepen the ways we can connect with each other across the country!
